Informant Sheds Light on Corruption in the Prosecutors Office

Informant Sheds Light on Corruption in the Prosecutors Office

We have received another tip from an informant that is employed within the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. This tip, sent to us via email, gives us insight into the history of corruption at the prosecutor’s office and with Judge Speelman. We have chosen to print the email as it was received but with the name and any tracing information removed to protect the informant. What is painfully apparent is that The Mercer County Mafia is running a corrupt and “rigged” court system. However, what we are learning is that Matt Fox and the prosecutor’s office are more involved than we realized. Now we are finding out the how much former Prosecutor Hinders is involved in this tangled web. As you’ll see this email seems to shed light on another retire/rehire scheme involving Hinders. Sheriff Jeff Grey got a similar retire/rehire deal. It looks like these deals pad the pockets of certain officials while the citizens have to pay up. Is there no shame in the level of corruption and deceit the inner circle of the Mercer County Mafia will stoop to?

You can see more details in the informant’s email below:

Subject: Andy Hinders & Matt Fox

Do you know how Matt Fox got his job as county prosecuting attorney?  You see… this goes to show the corruption is deeper than you’ve reported so far.

Fox used to be an assistant county prosecutor, under Andy Hinders, who was the then-elected prosecutor. (Hinders was and is a Democrat.  You see… the corruption is on both sides of the political aisle, not just the republicans).

Fox worked for Hinders for years, handling the felony docket while Hinders handled the juvenile court docket.

A little bit about Hinders, somebody I believe you’ve overlooked.  But who seems to have a lot of influence over Fox, and ALL of Mercer County. You see… nobody ran against Hinders as elected prosecutor for years.  Hinders is, I believe, a 3rd+ generation Mercer county attorney, who comes from a long line of “Mercer county blue bloods”, (aka “old money” and “high influence”) and either his father or grandfather was a judge (probate & juvenile court).  Hinders has generational connections to the Mercer county machine and you should investigate this!

Fox isn’t from Mercer county.  But he was “brought up” by Hinders.

Now… Back around 2010 maybe, Hinders and Fox hatched a plan.  I am not sure why, but Hinders led everyone to believe he would be running for her another term as elected prosecutor (aka more of the same old corruption).  And because of this nobody even pulled out a petition to run against him.

Nobody would dare run against “the machine”.

But Hinders and Fox had a plan: around 48 hours before the petition submission deadline, Fox and Hinders went to the Board Of Elections, and Fox pulled a petition to run for county prosecutor.  They were VERY QUIET about this.  Fox got the necessary signers for his petition and he filed at the 11th hour.  Hinders, via a “back room deal” never filed his petition.  Since nobody else filed to run as either a Democrat or republican, Fox got the job by default.

Guess who Fox hired as his assistant prosecutor when he was sworn in?  Yep, Fox hired Hinders.  And he STILL works there!!! I’ve heard it was Hinders retire/rehire, but I don’t know that for sure. You should investigate that.

From what I hear: Hinders is the one that calls the shots at the prosecutor office.

Also Hinders was and is still the lawyer advising the Mercer County Board Of Elections.  What a POWERFUL position to have!  Especially when he hardcore supported Speelman for judge (aka Jeff Grey’s puppet). I’ve heard the night of her election victory there were at least 4 sheriff cars at the court house that night… why??? (I noticed recently in the Daily Standard the Board Of Elections is looking to make their elections tamper proof.  I wonder if Grey has tampered with any local elections… I wouldn’t put it passed him).

Hinders and Fox are also training Josh Muhlenkamp, a failed private practice attorney, in their corrupt ways.  He couldn’t cut it in private practice but is quickly learning the ways of corruption.

It’s a nice little machine they have there at the County Prosecutor office.

  1. with these charges against him why is Matt Fox still prosecuting people ? He should be in jail , confined like so many he put behind bars , instead of freely roaming around spending taxpayers money on his case in the ohio supreme court !

  2. When a family member had to go before Judge Klosterman, all evidence gathered by police and sent to prosecutor disappeared, I asked Judge Klosterman if I could ask a question of Andy Hinders Judge said I could. I asked Hinders where did all the reports go against a group of juvenile delinquents that attacked family members? Who are they? Your butt buddies ir drug connection? Hinders sat there staring ahead with Judge Klosterman telling him to answer me When he refused to answer, Judge Klosterman looked at me and said that was my answer. You could see the steam boiling off Hinders head. My lawyer and husband were speechless at my questions.

  3. A family member had to sign papers saying to not press charges or sue childrens services for wrongly pressing charges against him. That was swept under the prosecutors rug because it would cause precedent.
