Explosive Letter to Ft. Recovery High School Board from Coach on Sexual Abuse

The attached letter (click here to view) from Coach Jeff Vaughn, of Ft. Recovery High School, to the school board, was part of over 46 pages we received from a secret file that came from Ft. Recovery High School. In the letter, Jeff Vaughn says, “I know for a fact that the younger players have been picked on for years and witnessed numerous acts as a player that would be considered sexual abuse or physical abuse.” How much more proof do people need to see to prove that there has been a history of sexual abuse at Ft. Recovery? A culture of covering up sexual abuse at any school is cause for alarm. Parents should feel safe sending their children to school. We need school leadership, from the top down, that takes sexual abuse seriously and deals swiftly with anyone sexual abusing children. Sexual abuse by school staff or students should never be tolerated or covered up!
